Dean's Statement on Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Third-Party Comments
February 1, 2018
Dear Colleagues and Constituents:
The UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing (UT Health SON) will host a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) onsite evaluation of our baccalaureate, master's, post graduate certificate, and DNP programs on April 18, 19, and 20, 2018. In accordance with CCNE accreditation procedures, I would like to extend the opportunity for colleagues, alumni, program constituents, and interested parties to submit comments concerning the School of Nursing's academic programs and their qualifications for accreditation.
As required by CCNE procedures, third-party comments will be received by CCNE until 21 days before the scheduled on-site evaluation. All written and signed third-party comments regarding the School of Nursing's evaluation visit will be accepted by CCNE until March 27, 2018.
Please submit your comments to:
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
Attn: Third Party Comments
655 K Street, NW, Suite 750
Washington, DC 20001
CCNE requires that all third party comments be written in English and comments are shared only with members of the evaluation team prior to their visit and onsite evaluation. At no time during the review process are these comments shared with the School of Nursing, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board. This invitation is to inform you of the opportunity to participate in this very important process for the UT Health School of Nursing concerning our re-accreditation.
Thank you for your participation in this important process.
