Services

Blue Star Bullet Consultation Services: Assistance and guidelines for study design, choosing instrumentation, developing data collection schemes, grant proposal writing, IRB applications, developing literature search and organization strategies, and selecting methods of presentation/publication.

Blue Star Bullet Data Management Services: Consultation on data management, data forms, and strategies to promote ease of data entry, consultation on grant form applications and use of software.

Blue Star Bullet Support Services:  Assistance with budget, research proposals, grants, IRB applications, manuscripts, abstracts, summaries, literature searches, packaging of materials relating to proposals, and submitting grant proposals.

Research Activities

Blue Star Bullet Faculty Scholarship Series: A series of seminars to provide a forum to discuss current and proposed research efforts, and solicit scholarly discourse to problem solve, critique, and inform our community of scholars of our collegial activities.

Blue Star Bullet Spring Research Colloquium: A whole school event featuring presenatations by nationally recognized researchers, clinical application breakout sessions led by UTHSCSA clinical experts, a poster session featuring SON students and faculty research in progress.

Blue Star Bullet Research Roundtables: Discussions with visiting scholars and consultants are scheduled throughout the year.

Blue Star Bullet Research Goals and Mentorship Program: A series of Faculty Research sessions for those interested in seeking research funding and publication.

Blue Star Bullet Faculty Development in Research: Formal workshops and development sessions.

Blue Star Bullet Visiting Scholars: Faculty from other universities may choose UTHSCSA School of Nursing as a site for sabbatical leave.
