What is my UTHSCSA domain user id and password?
Your UTHSCSA domain user id is the same as your UTHSCSA email user id. Your UTHSCSA domain password is separate from your UTHSCSA email password. If your inside.uthscsa logon fails, your password may have expired or you may not yet have changed it from its initial setting. For more password information, click on http://www.uthscsa.edu/computing/passwords or contact Triage at 567-2069 or triage@uthscsa.edu.
Can I register if I have a "hold"?
All holds must be cleared before you will be eligible to register via SA Self Service Learner Services. Contact the department listed on the Holds Summary screen in SA Self Service Personal Portfolio. (NOTE: Some holds may not be able to be cleared immediately, so check your hold status as soon as possible.)
Do I have to provide proof of private health insurance to the Registrar’s Office EVERY semester?
Proof of private health insurance does NOT have to be provided to the Registrar’s Office EVERY semester. The Registrar’s Office only requires that this documentation be submitted one time per year in May/June for the coming academic year (Fall/Spring/Summer). Failure to provide proof, however, will result in your being charged for MegaLife Health Insurance. Nonetheless, CHECK YOUR BILL. If you are charged for MegaLife Health Insurance and have private health insurance, provide proof to the Registrar’s Office PRIOR to paying your bill. Once paid, the MegaLife Health Insurance fee may be NON-REFUNDABLE.
Special Notice to Nursing Students Regarding Their Texas Nursing License and CPR Card
You MUST submit copies of a valid Texas nursing license and a valid CPR card to your respective office (Undergraduate or Graduate) in the School of Nursing EVERY semester. Failure to provide this documentation will result in a HOLD being placed upon your records.
Will I receive a bill for tuition and fees?
Bills will be mailed to enrolled students at their current HOME address by the Bursar's Office. Be sure to check your HOME address on the Addresses screen SA Self Service Personal Portfolio and make any necessary changes. (NOTE: Bills will not be mailed for transactions completed during the Web Add/Drop/Late Registration period. Students may either check their account via SA Self Service Learner Services or contact the Bursar's Office for the amount. Please allow the Bursar’s Office 24 hours following your add/drop or late registration to update your tuition and fees.) Failure to receive a bill is not justification for failure to pay by the published deadline. Failure to pay by the published deadline may result in your being dropped from your classes and will make you subject to a $100 late fee. Check the Advanced Dental, Allied Health, GSBS, or Nursing Academic Calendar at http://studentservices.uthscsa.edu/academicinfo/academcal.html to confirm your date.
When is payment for tuition and fees due?
Tuition and fees must be paid by 4:30 p.m. on the last business day BEFORE official first day of class. Check the Advanced Dental, Allied Health, GSBS, or Nursing Academic Calendar at http://studentservices.uthscsa.edu/academicinfo/academcal.html to confirm your date. (NOTE: Tuition and fees for transactions completed during the Web Add/Drop/Late Registration period are due by the official census date.)
