Hispanic Health Care from Health Care Reform

For the outdoor enthusiast, take a tour of Hoover Dam or Red Rock National Recreation area or a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon.

Are you a nurse, nurse educator, researcher, clinician, and or student? We would love to have you share your knowledge, expertise, research, challenges and successes with us as we address issues related to advocating for equity and quality for Hispanic health from healthcare reform, Hispanic healthcare research and Policy development.

Conference Objectives:

  1. Discuss nurse-led national, state and local involvement in disseminating information about health care reform to Hispanic communities.
  2. Describe innovative nurse-generated administrative polices that promote equity and quality in the delivery of health care to Hispanic communities.
  3. Summarize forging strategies to address the need to increase the number of Hispanics in undergraduate and graduate nursing workforce.
  4. List nurse-led creative practice initiatives focused on the equity and quality of Hispanic health care created to address the requirements of health care reform.
  5. Disseminate Hispanic health disparities research findings funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
