The School of Nursing Alumni Association is comprised of all graduates of The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing. In 2002, the Alumni Association Board of Directors voted to eliminate the payment of dues as a condition of membership. All current and future graduates of the school are members of the Association by virtue of graduation.
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to foster a lifelong relationship between the School of Nursing and its alumni and to encourage a greater devotion and respect for the high standards which the School of Nursing established for itself in 1969.
The Alumni Association is governed by the Alumni Advisory Council who serves one- to two-year terms. All members of the Association are welcome and encouraged to serve on the Advisory Council.
