Nurses' Christian Fellowship (NCF) | top

The NCF was begun in 1948 and is both a professional organization and a ministry of and for nurses and nursing students. Its members are concerned for the nurse as a whole person and are advocates of quality nursing care. Our vision is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to nursing education and practice.

NCF goals are to:

  • develop a network of nurses who listen to God and pray with expectation,
  • equip nurses with a biblical worldview which prepares them to represent Jesus Christ in nursing education and practice,
  • proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ so that others will hear the good news of Christ's relevancy to people and issues in nursing,
  • demonstrate Christ's righteousness and justice through teaching biblical and ethical standards and advocating health care for the poor and underserved, and
  • develop leadership qualities and skills in Christian nurses who will communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ in nursing locally, nationally and internationally.
