Dr. Braden provides assistance and guidelines for conceptual underpinning, study design, choosing instrumentation, developing data collection schemes, grant proposal writing, IRB applications, developing literature search and organization strategies, and selecting methods of presentation/publication. She provides consultation on use and availability of bio-instrumentation for pilot studies. Faculty may also wish to discuss research as a career trajectory: strategies for developing a program of research; and budgeting resources for projects. Call the ONRS for an appointment.
Committee on Scholarship
This committee serves to advance the scholarship (Discovery, Practice, Teaching and Service) goals of the School of Nursing. The role of the committee includes providing support for faculty and student scientific endeavors and serving in an advisory capacity to the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship. Granting of the Deans Scholarship Award for Pilot Projects is facilitated through the work of this committee.
